Joseph Dominick Ranieri is founder and CEO of 101Capital Limited, 101Advisors Limited, and 101Investment Advisors Limited. These are service providers in the Investment Banking and Private Equity environments of South East Asia. These companies represent Foreign and local Private Equity in the region, act as Investment advisor or management consultant to transactions as diverse as privatization, merger and divestment, and fund raising activities. Sectors advised include – Electronics, Semiconductor, Telecommunications, General Industrial, Airline, Food and branded goods. Prior to forming the ‘101’ Group of companies , he was the principle consultant of a Strategy Consultancy specializing in M&A transactions and the subsequent transformation and integration issues primarily in the Semiconductor and Electronic manufacturing equipment sectors.

He has advised prestigious and leading technology companies such as Dover Corp., Ismeca SA, Dage Limited, Flextronics International to name but a few on their product development, market growth, business transformation and acquisition integration plans. In the Semiconductor and Electronics industry he has held directly the positions of Managing Director Asia for Universal Instruments Corporation directly leading the Universal Instruments growth from start up to approx $150m /yr in sales in Asia over a short six year period.

From 1988 to 1996 he led or advised the establishment and rapid growth of Dover Corporations entre into first the SEAsian and then greater Asian marketplace with several of its portfolio companies (Univeral, Soltec, DEK, Dovatron, and others) – resulting in adding over $250M in yearly sales for the corporation. Following the success in Dover, he joined RVSI and turned around their sales and service ooperatins as Vice President / Exec Vice President (Asia) in RVSI Semiconductor Group (RVSI, Vanguard and Systemation group of companies) resulting in a tripling of Revenues, reentry into lost customers, and marked improvement in their service reputations worldwide. Mr Ranieri is a serial intra/entrepreneur that has a proven track record in diverse and rapidly changing business environments. He specializes in rapid growth and high performance team development. Having lived in Singapore for the last 18 years and traveling and advising companies all over the globe, he brings vast cultural and regional business practice knowledge to the advice and strategies developed and implemented with his clients.
